The man in the red robe offered a faint smile in return. "Should you find my terms unacceptable, you are entirely free to decline the offer."    

Upon hearing the news, the faces of Lu Changqing and the Black White Immortal Supremacy darkened considerably. The successor to the Longevity Immortal King, along with the inhabitants of the Longevity Immortal Palace, had taken refuge within its walls. They needed to devise a strategy to breach the palace without delay.    

Otherwise, if the Longevity Immortal Palace had the opportunity to regroup and the Chaos Origin Immortal Venerable managed to heal, the successor of the Longevity Immortal King would undoubtedly ascend to the Chaos Origin Stage. This posed a significant threat to both Changqing Immortal Palace and Past Life Immortal Palace.

Lu Changqing, paying no further attention to Red Flame Immortal Venerable, was about to confer with Black White Immortal Venerable when he was struck by a sudden premonition. His body shuddered involuntarily, and his complexion turned ashen.    

"Changqing, what's wrong?" asked the Black White Immortal Venerables, taken aback by his sudden change in demeanor.    

"Something's gone wrong at the Evergreen Immortal Palace," Lu Changqing announced, his face pale. "The clone I left there has been destroyed!"    

Though the clone he had cultivated had its own consciousness, it remained deeply connected to his primary self. The moment it was destroyed, Lu Changqing felt it instantly.    

"How could this happen?" the Black and White Immortal Venerables asked in unison, their voices grave. "Immortal Venerable Pursuing Sun is confined within these walls. Who could possibly breach the Chang Qing Immortal Palace and destroy your clone?"    

The Black and White Immortal Venerable were well-acquainted with the capabilities of Lu Changqing's clone. Thanks to Lu Changqing's meticulous care, the clone had achieved the Chaos Origin Stage in cultivation. Despite being slightly less powerful than a typical early-stage Chaos Origin Immortal Venerable, it still boasted considerable strength.
