With Peter Parker at the helm, the Immortal Monument surged forward, a formidable force propelling it toward the man clad in white.

Peter Parker, his face pale, stood tall amidst the stars. His white hair billowed around him, transforming him from a youthful twenty-something into a man with the white locks of someone in their fifties or sixties.    

Blood spilled from his lips in coughs, but anger was far from him; instead, he erupted into laughter.    

"How... How is this possible?"    

Cang Yunhai and the Navy Tide Saint Sect's other experts were utterly dumbfounded, as if they had seen an apparition. They simply couldn't trust their own eyes.    

This was their Navy Tide Saint Sect's Ancestor Immortal, who had attained eternal life through the pursuit of the Dao.    

Could it be that a mere youth had just obliterated a revered Ancestor Immortal's clone?    

"Sect Master... we cannot contend with this young man. We must retreat immediately."    

An elder of the Canglan Sacred Clan spoke, his voice laced with fear.

Peter Parker shook his head, then, weary, turned back towards the city amidst the stars.    

"Brother Peter Parker, are you alright?"    

Gu Fenger's gaze fell upon the white-haired Peter Parker, her delicate face etched with concern.    

"What could happen to me? I'm merely depleted of energy. A bit of rest and I'll recover."    

Peter Parker offered a reassuring smile. Then, addressing Mingyue Xin and the others, he declared, "The Canglan Universe won't trouble the God Realm for a while. I must seclude myself to recuperate. The God Realm is in your hands."    

With those words, Peter Parker vanished in a blink.    

Catherine Waters furrowed her brow, poised to follow him.    

Ming Yuexin, perceiving Catherine Waters's intent, gently shook his head, "Catherine, the Moon God Stone's power is enigmatic, but I doubt it can aid him. Let him be."    

Ming Yuexin's insight made it clear.    

Peter Parker had wielded the Immortal Monument to quell the true immortal avatar, a feat likely costing him more than what Ming Yuexin had expended to vanquish the cultivator from the Immortal Breaking Universe.

The backlash was so intense that, had his strength not already exceeded the pinnacle of the Sovereign realm, it might have consumed his life in an instant.    

Despite his formidable power, Peter Parker's lifespan was rapidly diminishing. The residual force within him continued to gnaw away at his remaining years. This dire situation led him to seek refuge in the Longevity Immortal Palace, a place brimming with vital energy, in hopes of using its power to quell the backlash wreaking havoc in his system.    

"Kid, you're lucky your foundation is solid. The Immortal Extinguishing Power's backlash could have been fatal. However, I'm afraid you have less than a hundred years left," the Immortal Monument's voice echoed in Peter Parker's mind. "You must advance to the Eternal Realm as quickly as possible, achieving True Immortality. That's the only way to fully neutralize the backlash."    

"Moreover, until you become a True Immortal, you must not wield the power of Immortal Extermination again. If you do, there'll be no saving you."    

Peter Parker couldn't help but smile bitterly at the thought of having less than a century left. The cost of wielding the Immortal Extinguishing Force had been steep indeed. Fortunately, his cultivation had reached the zenith of what a ruler could achieve. With guidance from the Heavenly Dao of the Divine Realm, he could locate a universe, break through to the Eternal Realm, and attain immortality. A hundred years would surely suffice.    

With a shake of his head, Peter Parker cast aside his concerns, steadied his heart, and delved into deep cultivation. The price he had paid for activating the Immortal Monument and summoning the annihilation power was unprecedented. After a year of seclusion in the Longevity Immortal Palace, he finally eradicated the backlash from his body.    

"I've overcome the backlash from the Immortal Vanquishing Power, but this year alone has cost me another twenty to thirty years of life," he reflected. "It seems I now have only sixty to seventy years remaining."    

Peter Parker opened his eyes and murmured softly to himself. He knew he needed to address the issues within the God Domain swiftly and figure out a breakthrough.    

But the thought of the God Domain caused his brow to furrow in concern. The Divine Realm was currently facing a crisis, primarily due to the Canglan Universe and the Immortal Breaking Universe. The latter was embroiled in a fierce conflict with the Heavenly Star Universe, posing no immediate threat to him. If he could return to the Immortal Breaking Universe, he could ally with the Heavenly Star Universe and deal a significant blow to their mutual enemy.    

The Canglan Universe, however, was a different story. It had been tasked by the high-ranking beings of the Immortal World to scour the Divine Realm for the Longevity Immortal Palace, and they were not likely to give up easily. Should the Canglan Universe return with the formidable Immortal Breaking Technique, Peter Parker knew he would be outmatched.    

What's more, even if he managed to neutralize the threat from the Canglan Universe, the sage of the Immortal World who was aware of the Longevity Immortal Palace's existence could leverage other universes against the God Domain.    

In essence, as long as the Longevity Immortal Palace remained within the Divine Realm, true peace would likely remain elusive.
