Hearing this, Wan Chengfeng asked, "Could that important person be inside this coffin?"    

"I'm not sure about that. We need to open the coffin to find out. But I'm hesitant to try because I'm worried that even if I use up all my spiritual strength, I might not be able to open it, and that wouldn't be good."    

Wan Xin, standing nearby, chimed in, "If you run out of spiritual strength, there's still the two of us. We can transfer our strength to you."    

Jiang Fann smiled and said, "That's a good idea."    

Seeing Jiang Fann's interest, Wan Chengfeng quickly added, "Even if that's possible, what if the combined strength of the three of us still isn't enough? We could end up trapped here."    

Jiang Fann replied, "We won't be trapped. I can still draw on the strength of two others from my inner realm. Plus, we can return to that dark space below to recover our strength. With the environment there, we can fully recover in no time."    

Wan Chengfeng couldn't help but feel a bit relieved upon hearing this.    

"We can return to that space from here?"    

Jiang Fann nodded. "I can definitely do it. It just takes a bit of my energy to get you all back."    

"Then there's nothing to worry about. Let's figure out how to activate it. Want me to give it a try first?" Wan Chengfeng was eager, clearly excited.    

But seeing this, Jiang Fann quickly stopped him. "Brother Wan, you and Wan Xin should step back a bit. Your bloodline powers might affect something. We don't want a repeat of what happened in the formation area. If you get pulled in, I'm not sure I can get you out. That would be a real problem."    

Hearing this, Wan Chengfeng calmed down. The memory of that situation was still nerve-wracking, even now. He quickly pulled Wan Xin away from the coffin.    

Jiang Fann didn't try to break the seal immediately. Instead, he looked up at the sky. The stars were already visible, and he decided to focus on the main task at hand. That was their best shot at reaching the next area. They could study the coffin more in the morning.    

Wan Chengfeng and Wan Xin didn't disturb Jiang Fann. They watched him from a distance, clearly filled with anticipation.    

Wan Xin asked Wan Chengfeng, "Uncle, why does Jiang Fann keep looking at the stars? Is there something special about them?"    

She frowned as she looked up, but couldn't see anything unusual. They looked just like the stars she saw outside.    

Wan Chengfeng gazed at the night sky, seeing nothing out of the ordinary. Without his spiritual strength, he couldn't use any techniques, and relying solely on his eyesight wasn't enough.    

Meanwhile, in Jiang Fann's mind, a massive formation was taking shape. The patterns mirrored the stars above, though a few areas still needed to be filled in. It wasn't ready to function just yet.    

Lin Zhan and Xiao Ai were also studying the formation, clearly benefiting from the process. Being around Jiang Fann, they were continually improving, something Jiang Fann was well aware of.    

By dawn, as the stars faded, only a small section of the formation remained incomplete. Jiang Fann didn't push himself but instead sat down to restore his mental energy. After a night of intense focus, he needed to recharge.    

Fortunately, Xiao Yu's power continuously supported him, helping him recover. After resting for a couple of hours, Jiang Fann awoke, feeling refreshed, and headed straight for the coffin.    

Inspired by Wan Xin, he was confident he could return to the dark space below and come back after recovering. With the technique of moving through the earth, the barrier deep underground was no obstacle for Jiang Fann.    

He released his spiritual strength, channeling it into the coffin, but it was quickly absorbed by its power.    

He barely had time to assimilate the spiritual energy from the formation, which really caught Jiang Fann off guard. He tried again, but the situation was no different from before. The coffin seemed like an ocean of spiritual energy, and his own strength felt insignificant in comparison.    

The voice of the Eternal Garment echoed in his mind: "Master, it's best not to try anymore. You're just wasting your energy. It's pretty clear now that someone significant is buried here."    

"Someone significant?"    

"That's right, at least someone on the level of my old master. His realm is far beyond your reach. Even the power emanating from his remains surpasses yours by far, reaching at least the level of a celestial being. Your spiritual strength is no match for his."    

The Martial God chimed in, "She's right. There's no need to waste time on this coffin. Even if you manage to open it, it might not be beneficial. It could awaken something terrifying."    

"By now, Master, you should understand that this is a contingency left by a great figure who fell. He wants to be reborn, but his body has already transcended the natural order and can't be used anymore. That's why everything in this forbidden zone exists, like the attempt to possess Wan Chengfeng's body."    

Hearing this, Jiang Fann couldn't help but glance upwards again. "Looks like I need to head over there."    

He then walked towards the two of them. Wan Chengfeng couldn't help but speak up, "Doesn't seem like it's going well, huh?"    

Jiang Fann nodded. "This place likely holds the remains of a significant figure. The moment my spiritual strength touches it, it's absorbed. I can't integrate with the energy on the coffin. To break the formation above, it would take a lot of time."    

"Even if we spend a lot of effort, we might not gain anything from the coffin, so let's not waste time on it. We won't risk angering that important figure. I've already found our next target, and it won't be long before we can move on."    

Hearing Jiang Fann's reasoning, the others nodded in agreement, recognizing him as the key player. Jiang Fann glanced again at the coffin, noting how the formation above was stable, unaffected by the sparse energy in the space.    

The three decided to rest where they were, waiting for nightfall. Jiang Fann planned to finish inscribing the remaining formations as soon as possible, then quickly break through and lead the others to the next area.    

In the afternoon, a beam of light silently descended onto the coffin. The three, with their eyes closed in meditation, didn't notice the change. But when they felt the energy around the coffin fluctuate, they opened their eyes and looked over, surprised by the sight of the light.    

Wan Chengfeng quickly asked, "What's going on?"    

Unfortunately, neither of them could answer his question. Jiang Fann stood up, leaving the two behind, and walked directly toward the coffin to investigate further.    

Sensing the change in spiritual energy above, Jiang Fann was almost certain that the light was channeling spiritual strength into the coffin. Using his spiritual sense, he detected that the light beam contained pure spiritual strength, not something a practitioner could produce. It seemed more like the energy gathered by a formation, prompting Jiang Fann to look skyward again. He knew that a star-like formation was hidden there, though it was impossible to see clearly in broad daylight.    

As Jiang Fann observed, a surge of spiritual strength suddenly erupted from the coffin, swiftly heading toward Wan Chengfeng in the distance, completely ignoring Jiang Fann nearby. Wan Chengfeng, being in the reincarnation realm, reacted almost instantly, pulling Wan Xin back repeatedly. He used his spiritual strength to enhance his movement, and although the power released by the coffin was fast, it wasn't quite enough.    

Jiang Fann unleashed his spiritual strength, directing the Heaven Burning Fire at the overflowing energy, causing an immediate explosion. Despite the power of the Heaven Burning Fire, its impact on the spiritual strength was minimal, and it quickly extinguished.    

Jiang Fann had always found the Heaven Burning Fire to be unstoppable in his hands, even against more powerful practitioners. But now, it seemed unable to unleash its full power. The force from the coffin continued to ignore Jiang Fann, still trying to target Wan Chengfeng, but it couldn't catch up.    

Jiang Fann decided to widen the gap and chased after Wan Chengfeng and his companion. Wan Chengfeng frowned at the swirling energy.    

"Good thing we listened to you and stayed far enough from that coffin yesterday. Otherwise, we might have been caught off guard. Didn't you say it holds the body of some big shot? Maybe he's just playing dead?"    

"What would he gain from that? It’s more likely that the array above is channeling energy into the coffin. I think someone is watching us." He glanced upwards, clearly hinting at something.    

At this distance, the coffin's power couldn't reach them. The spiritual energy here was thin, and the power it could muster was far less than outside. The earlier ambush had already drained a lot of the coffin's energy, and it seemed to realize it had missed its chance to capture Wan Chengfeng.    

Jiang Fann looked back towards the coffin and said to Wan Chengfeng, "That thing really has no interest in me. It seems your family's bloodline is important to it. Didn't you mention your family moved here? Could there be a connection to the original owner of this place?"    

Wan Chengfeng shook his head, "There's no real connection. My clan did migrate here, but maybe there's something we haven't discovered yet. Could it be that some of our ancestors' true blood was sent to a stronger region? Maybe that's why our bloodline was chosen, and they're not interested in you."    

"That might be one way to look at it. Let's not get too close for now. You all take the medicine and try to restore some of your spiritual strength first. I'll handle breaking the formation."    

Speaking of this, Wan Chengfeng couldn't help but be curious. "Have you been stargazing these past two days to break the formation?"    

Jiang Fann didn't hide it and explained, "The stars appearing in the night sky are part of a large formation. I've found a way to break it, and once we do, we can easily move on to the next area."    

He glanced in the direction of the coffin and continued, "I hope what just happened was just an accident. If we're really being watched, it could be a bit troublesome..."
