In the next moment, he sensed powerful presences emerging, rapidly approaching from the formations around him. Jiang Fann had felt this before when he was chasing Lin Zhan within the formation. However, the number of these presences now was astonishing.    

He quickly masked his spiritual strength with the aura he had assimilated, not daring to imagine the impact if all these forces converged on him at once.    

He didn't withdraw his spiritual sense but instead carefully tracked where the incoming energies were heading within the formation. Once they lost their lock on Jiang Fann's aura, the presences halted, seemingly hesitant, and didn't continue their advance.    

This reaction puzzled Jiang Fann. He initially thought these forces were like the entity that had devoured Wan Chengfeng's spiritual strength, but now it seemed these energies lacked consciousness. Their responses appeared more instinctual or driven by the formation itself.    

Jiang Fann focused on a particular presence and used his spiritual sense to follow it, curious to see where it would ultimately lead.    

Just then, Xiao Ai alerted Jiang Fann, "That guy showed up, about sixty-five feet ahead on the left. He appeared suddenly, probably using a teleportation array, but there's no sign of life from him."    

Jiang Fann glanced in that direction and saw a humanoid form of spiritual energy looking back at him. It paused, seemingly surprised, then turned and fled.    

Jiang Fann was about to give chase, but the figure vanished after just a couple of steps, leaving no trace behind.    

Lin Zhan remarked, "It's another teleportation array. That guy really knows his way around these formations."    

Jiang Fann moved closer to where the figure had disappeared, carefully sensing the surrounding formations, and quickly pinpointed the location of the teleportation array.    

He speculated, "Do you think this guy could be trying to use the formation to manifest a physical body?"    

Lin Zhan replied, "It's possible, but I doubt it. His control over the formations isn't advanced enough to be a Formation Spirit. If he were, he would have known we were here. He seemed genuinely surprised to see us, so he didn't know we were following him."    

Xiao Ai chimed in, "Who cares what he is? There's a teleportation array here. Why don't we just follow him and see what's going on?"    

Jiang Fann agreed with her logic, so he didn't waste any time. He activated the teleportation array with his spiritual strength, and the formation whisked him away to another space. Judging by the aura, he figured they were back within the restricted area's formations.    

Jiang Fann looked around and noticed that the formation here was different from the one he first encountered. It covered a larger area, but the figure he was following had vanished and was not within this formation. He extended his spiritual sense beyond the formation, trying to determine his location and see how far he was from Wancheng Feng and the others. However, he found that he couldn't pinpoint their location. He then took out a Spirit Attached Jade and focused his spiritual sense on it, only to discover that their presence was obscured by some force. This indicated that he was now in a different part of the restricted zone, not the area he had been in before. This unexpected change caught Jiang Fann off guard.    

"It seems you were right," Lin Zhan said. "The formation below is the main one, and the smaller formations in the different areas are just parts of the whole. The restricted zone is much larger than we thought."    

Jiang Fann glanced through the barrier to check the surroundings but didn't notice anything unusual. He then reactivated the teleportation array beneath him and returned to the unique spiritual space he had been in before. Once back, he moved around the space, quickly confirming his suspicions. There were many teleportation arrays here, leading to different parts of the restricted zone. However, they only connected to areas with formations, like the one with the giant and the wild boar. The formations couldn't take him anywhere else.    

The humanoid figure also used this formation to travel to various places. Sensing the surrounding spiritual strength, the War God Token sighed, "If this spiritual strength could be absorbed, it would definitely be much stronger than the spiritual inheritance of the Thunder Sect."    

Jiang Fann replied, "Absorbing it isn't the issue. We need to understand the situation here first. But absorbing spiritual strength doesn't really help me right now. At most, it could elevate my level to the peak of the Dao Understanding Stage. Unfortunately, stepping into the Mortal Separating Stage isn't something that can be solved by having enough spiritual strength."    

"That's alright. This spiritual space isn't going anywhere. Once you break through, you can come back and absorb all the spiritual strength here. It might even help you leap several minor stages."    

Jiang Fann understood the War God Token's point. This place was akin to a spiritual inheritance, containing an immense amount of spiritual strength. However, it was useless to people like Wan Chengfeng because the spiritual strength here was enhanced by the formation's special power, making it impossible for ordinary people to absorb. Jiang Fann had once learned the Chaos Method, which allowed him to reverse the attributes of spiritual strength. By using it, he could transform the surrounding spiritual strength into a form he could absorb.    

Though he didn't have many opportunities to use this method, its effectiveness was undeniable. Without further ado, Jiang Fann sought out the earliest teleportation formation, planning to reunite with Wan Chengfeng and the others. He intended to bring them into the formation together, as the scale of this grand formation was too vast for him to feel comfortable leaving them outside.    

Thanks to Lin Zhan and the others, they had already marked the path, so finding it wasn't difficult. Returning to the previous formation, Jiang Fann could tell it was the same area as before. He approached the edge of the formation, passed through the barrier, and looked in the direction where Wan Chengfeng and his companion had left, but they were nowhere to be seen.    

"Where did they go?"    

Jiang Fann took out Wan Chengfeng's Spirit Attached Jade to determine their location, only to find that Wan Chengfeng was now far away, moving toward the center of the area for some unknown reason.    

"Is something wrong?"    

Puzzled, Jiang Fann ran in that direction, eager to find out what was happening. He used the Spirit Attached Jade to call out, "Brother Wan, what's going on over there?"    

But Wan Chengfeng didn't respond, and his pace didn't slow down. After running about thirty yards, Lin Zhan suddenly spoke up, "Young Master, did you notice anything unusual?"    

"Just tell me what you think."    

"I marked the positions of the nearby formations for you in advance, so we could avoid them. But within these thirty yards, there are two formations that weren't triggered. Wan Chengfeng and his companion wouldn't know about these hidden formations in the void. Isn't that strange?"    

Jiang Fann scanned the surroundings. There was no trace of any formation explosions, suggesting they likely didn't rely on their own strength to pass through.    

"Could there really be other life forms here? Even stronger than Wan Chengfeng?"    

Despite his doubts, Jiang Fann didn't stop. He maneuvered through various formations, steadily closing in on Wan Chengfeng's location. Extending his spiritual sense, he still couldn't pinpoint their exact position; they were simply too far away.

After running for several minutes, Jiang Fann still hadn't caught up with them. He hadn't been in the formation for long, yet they had been taken so far away. Using his Spirit Attached Jade to sense their presence, he discovered they had stopped, though their exact location was unknown.    

By now, he had moved beyond the range of formations Lin Zhan had marked in his mind. However, with the Chapter of Formation Dao and his Divine Eye technique, Jiang Fann wasn't worried about seeing through the surrounding formations, so he didn't slow down much.    

What puzzled Jiang Fann was that he wasn't suppressing his spiritual strength, yet he hadn't encountered any trouble. He couldn't figure out what was going on with Wan Chengfeng and the others.    

As Jiang Fann got closer to Wan Chengfeng's location, he suddenly saw Wan Xin within a formation. She was unconscious, lying on the ground, and it was unclear what had happened to her. Approaching the formation, he sensed the energy above it and found it identical to the spiritual strength he had previously assimilated. Instead of entering directly, he extended his spiritual sense through the formation to assess Wan Xin's condition.    

Afterward, he noticed her breathing was steady, but her spiritual strength was nearly depleted, as if the energy in her Qi Sea had been completely drained.    

"What happened? Did she encounter the same situation as before?"    

The formation's power clung to Wan Xin, without any other effects. He confirmed Wan Chengfeng's location and decided to first get Wan Xin out of the formation, then check on the situation over there.    

He carefully navigated through the formation, channeling its power to remove the spiritual energy attached to Wan Xin. Using his own spiritual strength, he lifted her to the edge of the formation, intending to pass through it.    

Sensing she was being moved, Wan Xin slowly opened her eyes. Seeing Jiang Fann, she couldn't help but feel a surge of emotion, ready to speak.    

But then she heard Jiang Fann's voice in her mind: "Don't release your spiritual strength, don't speak. Let me get you out of the formation first."    

Wan Xin, being a calm cultivator, didn't say more and allowed Jiang Fann to guide her out of the formation.    

Once outside, she couldn't hold back any longer: "Help my uncle, he was taken away..."    

Jiang Fann asked directly, "Didn't I tell you to wait for me over there? How did you all end up trapped here so quickly?"
