Upon hearing Jiang Fann's question, Xiao Yu quickly responded, "Master, are you planning to lure it out?"    

"We'll see what Lin Zhan and the others find, then figure out if we can capture it. If not, using Brother Wan as bait could be a good option. He'd probably be up for it."    

Wan Chengfeng and his companion were unaware of any of this; they hadn't even noticed the presence of the other entity.    

The Longevity Robe spoke up, "That thing is just a mass of spiritual strength, at most a spiritual practitioner. The Gu Xie by your side has a significant advantage over it. Capturing it within a certain range shouldn't be an issue, but we must prevent it from escaping. There are too many teleportation arrays in this formation, and it's very familiar with them."    

"That's easy to handle. I've got a plan."    

Two hours later, the formation diagram appeared in Jiang Fann's mind. As he had predicted, the teleportation arrays occupied most of the formation patterns, and the entire formation core was a massive spirit-gathering array, absorbing all surrounding spiritual strength into the core. It was quite powerful, but still within Jiang Fann's understanding.    

Jiang Fann quickly etched the formation into the Chapter of Formation Dao and then focused intently, sitting cross-legged as he tried to activate it in his mind. Xiao Ai and Lin Zhan hurried back to Jiang Fann's side, staying vigilant.    

After another half-hour, Jiang Fann suddenly opened his eyes. He began channeling his refined spiritual strength into the formation on the ground. As his energy flowed, the surrounding patterns gradually lit up. With his current understanding of the formation's core, Jiang Fann could manipulate the patterns at will. He was confident that even the humanoid figure wouldn't have better control over the formation than he did, avoiding previous mishaps.    

Despite the passing hours, the mysterious figure hadn't reappeared. Although the figure wasn't afraid of Wan Chengfeng and his companion, it was clearly wary of Jiang Fann.    

Jiang Fann didn't disturb Wan Chengfeng and his partner. Instead, he turned to Lin Zhan and Xiao Ai, asking, "If I control the formation's core, how can we lock onto that figure's presence? The energies of this combined formation should be interconnected, right?"    

Xiao Ai replied, "There are a few ways to lock onto their presence, but such a large formation requires a significant amount of energy. Perhaps you should consider other options?"    

Jiang Fann decisively shook his head. "Let's not consider other options for now. Guide me on how to operate it, and leave the rest to me."    

Lin Zhan spoke up, "What’s the point of you operating the formation? Are you planning to rely on those two to catch someone? Let Xiao Ai and me channel your spiritual strength to control the formation. Once we pinpoint their location, we’ll activate the teleportation array to send you over."    

"If you send us over, what will you do without my spiritual strength to support you?"    

Lin Zhan chuckled, "Setting up a formation in advance isn’t too hard. We just need to leave some of the Young Master's assimilated spiritual strength. After sending you over, we’ll enter the formation ourselves, making it impossible for those forces to detect us. When you reach the other side, make sure to mark the teleportation array’s location immediately to avoid complications when returning."    

Jiang Fann nodded, "Alright, let’s do it. But just in case, I plan to set up a few more formations nearby. You can activate them anytime, just like how the seniors used formation flags to disrupt those spiritual forces. Your main task is to ensure your safety. I can always return to support you through the teleportation array."    

"Got it!"    

Jiang Fann wasted no time and first set up a formation nearby as Lin Zhan suggested, infusing it with his assimilated spiritual strength. The formation wasn’t complex, but it was sure to be effective. After that, Jiang Fann went around setting up several formations capable of releasing special spiritual strength, just in case. Lin Zhan and Xiao Ai had been with him for so long, helping him countless times, and Jiang Fann couldn’t let anything happen to them.    

Having sorted everything out, Jiang Fann returned to Lin Zhan and the other person, speaking directly. "I've got everything ready on my end. You two need to stay close to me, and I'll handle the rest."    

They both nodded, their eyes full of determination, clearly prepared for what lay ahead.    

Jiang Fann, however, reminded them once more, "Remember, you promised me not to act rashly until we've figured out the situation from the other side."    

Again, they nodded with the same determined look, saying nothing more. Yet, the more resolute they appeared, the less confident Jiang Fann felt.    

Jiang Fann then released his spiritual strength, allowing Lin Zhan and the other person to manipulate it. They were already very familiar with the formation, operating it even more skillfully than Jiang Fann himself.    

Almost instantly, the formation began to function, causing the terrifying spiritual energy in the space to fluctuate, placing immense pressure on the three of them. If such a massive energy space were to explode, it would pose a significant threat to the restricted area.    

As they operated the formation, the patterns on the ground lit up continuously. Jiang Fann stood silently, ready to act at any moment, including dealing with Gu Xie within the hidden realm. Given the chance, he wouldn't miss.    

At this moment, the formations previously hidden in the void began to reveal themselves. The patterns on all the formations were in motion, and the humanoid spiritual practitioner in the corner formation stood up from the ground, clearly observing the surrounding formations with great attention.    

This was clearly the first time he had encountered such a situation. Suddenly, three figures appeared on the formation not far ahead. The young man leading them made him feel extremely threatened, prompting him to turn and run toward the nearby teleportation array, clearly intending to avoid any confrontation with Jiang Fann, whose presence was overwhelmingly intimidating.

In that instant, a golden light flashed—not the Heaven Burning Fire this time. Before the spiritual practitioner could react, a figure appeared behind her. A slender hand, glowing with a dark light—the power of Devil Art—swiftly enveloped her, suppressing her instantly.    

A sharp scream escaped the spiritual practitioner, and the ground began to tremble violently. In the next moment, Jiang Fann heard Lin Zhan's voice through the formation's transmission.    

"Young Master, be careful. The power within the formation has completely erupted and is charging toward your location like a mad force. Try to evade it for now. We've activated all the formations on our end as well."    

Gu Xie also sensed the threat from the spiritual energy surging through the ground's formation. Nonetheless, he quickly subdued the spiritual practitioner, sealing her voice with spiritual strength to prevent her from using any other means.    

Jiang Fann and his companions were visibly surprised when they saw Gu Xie swiftly capture their opponent. They were so taken aback that they didn't even notice the changes happening on the ground. Jiang Fann, however, guided them toward the edge of the formation, aware that staying within it could expose them to indiscriminate attacks. Once outside, they would be much safer, needing only to watch out for the formation on the ground.    

Reuniting with the group, Gu Xie enveloped them in spiritual strength, swiftly moving them beyond the formation's boundary. Jiang Fann wasn't worried about Lin Zhan and Xiao Ai, as the energy surges seemed to be the work of a spiritual practitioner, likely drawing the forces toward their side, making Lin Zhan's position relatively secure.

A series of explosions erupted from the formation behind them, each blast more powerful than the last, as if the entire formation was being obliterated in an instant. The explosions showed no sign of stopping, relentlessly closing in on them, each burst of energy seeming to chase them down, drawing ever nearer.    

Just as the explosions were about to overtake them, Gu Xie used her spiritual strength to lift the group into the air. She remained on the ground, stomping her foot to create a golden bone wall that extended over thirty feet. The wall lifted her into the air as well, while the explosions continued to roar beneath it, their power undiminished.    

Even the golden bone wall conjured by Gu Xie was showing cracks, struggling to hold up.    

Gu Xie reached into the air, and an immortal bone staff appeared in her hand. As she infused it with her spiritual strength, she completely suppressed the aura of the spiritual practitioner.    

With the power of the bone staff reinforcing the bone wall, it managed to withstand the relentless barrage. Clearly, Gu Xie's power was slightly stronger.    

Meanwhile, Wan Chengfeng and his companion seemed to regain their senses. Their attention had been solely on the spiritual practitioner, missing everything else. Now, seeing the situation, they realized that even with their level of cultivation, facing such an explosion head-on would be certain death.    

Gu Xie frowned as she looked at the bone wall on the ground. Although it was still holding up, the underground explosions showed no sign of stopping. She could still sense different spiritual energies converging from all directions. Fortunately, these forces couldn't reach the air, so they weren't a threat yet.    

Jiang Fann spoke up, "If you can't hold on, let me know in advance. I'll figure something out."    

Gu Xie replied, "These forces don't seem to belong to the spiritual practitioner. It's a different kind of spiritual energy, and I don't know why this guy can control it."    

Jiang Fann said, "Just ask him directly; you're more skilled at this than I am." Gu Xie clearly understood what Jiang Fann meant and nodded. Then, one of her fingernails transformed into a golden bone spike, which she aimed straight at the spiritual practitioner.
