Following the markers he had left, Jiang Fann led his companions back the way they came, moving swiftly. As they approached the dark barrier, Jiang Fann gathered his spiritual strength to guide them through. The barrier was strange and left a lasting impression on him.    

Back in the area filled with formations, the spells were still active, unaffected by the removal of that spirit. As Jiang Fann traveled, he communicated with the Purple Jade Eagle.    

"You and Little Dot each have only one spirit. You must have heard my conversation with that guy earlier. You should try to cultivate this method. If successful, it might truly impact your original form, so you won't be as passive as you are now."    

The Purple Jade Eagle, clearly eager, immediately asked Jiang Fann for the spiritual jade engraved with the method, planning to start cultivating right away. As for Little Dot, he was still in seclusion, transforming his bloodline power, unable to do anything else at the moment. Once his transformation was complete, he could ask the Purple Jade Eagle for the method.

Wàn Xīn frowned and asked, "Uncle, are you really not going back to take a look?"    

Wàn Chèngfēng smiled, "I originally planned to return to our ancestral land to complete the legacy, but the inheritance I received in the restricted zone has already made up for it. Now, with your bloodline power strong enough to activate the legacy there, and your cultivation having broken through, you can have that inheritance. Jiang and I will seek other legacies elsewhere."    

He added a few more words of advice. "Make sure to pass on my warnings to them about the situation in the restricted zone, including the remains of the celestial being. It's best to discourage our people from training there, as the formations are too restrictive for our clan."    

Wàn Xīn suggested, "Why don't you tell them yourself? I don't think Grandpa would stop you from leaving."    

Wàn Chèngfēng shook his head, "I know them better than you do, so there's no need to persuade me."    

He then turned to Jiang Fann, "Brother Jiang, maybe we should use your treasure cauldron. It's best if we leave quietly without giving my father a chance to catch me."    

Jiang Fann nodded, "No problem."    

With that, Jiang Fann summoned the Star River Cauldron and brought the two of them inside.

As they flew, Jiang Fann laughed, "Your dad must have been holding onto your spirit jade to locate you so quickly. He must have been worried when you went into the inner valley."    

Wàn Chéngfēng replied, "Of course, he's my dad..."
