C2486 CHAPTER2486

2Peter Parker gazed at the towering green divine tree bearing down on him. With an effortless gesture, he reached out and grasped the tree. It shattered into pieces with a resounding crash.

"You... Who are you?" The young man's face was etched with fear as he witnessed his most powerful technique effortlessly neutralized by Peter Parker.

This divine ability, bestowed upon him by the elders of his sect, was formidable. Once unleashed, it could challenge even those on the cusp of the great cultivation realm.

Yet, the enigmatic young man before him had dispatched it with such ease. Not even the most esteemed Tribulation Transcenders in the Immortal Breaking Universe could manage such a feat with such simplicity.

Could it be... Was this youth a peerless prodigy at the Quasi-Mahayana Stage?

Peter Parker offered no answer. Instead, he spoke softly, "I never imagined I'd encounter members of the Taiyi Immortal Sect among the ruins of Daoist Tian Yu. How did you gain entry to this place, and how long have you been here?"

The young man ignored Peter Parker's inquiry, instead seizing the girl in green beside him, attempting to rip through the fabric of space to flee.

However...

The instant he acted, an unseen force thundered down from the void, immobilizing him and the space around him, rendering him completely motionless.

"You cannot escape from me," Peter Parker stated coolly. "If you wish to survive, answer my questions truthfully."

"About a month ago, the Taiyi Immortal Sect came into possession of a mysterious key. After thorough investigation, our leaders determined it to be the key to Daoist Tian Yu's ruins. With the key's guidance, they located the site and covertly dispatched ten of us to explore it..."

Taking a deep breath, the young man realized he had no choice but to divulge the truth if he wanted to save his own life.

Peter Parker's eyes sparkled with interest. "So, you've been inside the ruins for a month?"

The young man nodded. "Roughly twenty days."

After a moment of contemplation, Peter Parker inquired, "Tell me about the strength of the ten Taiyi Immortal Sect members who entered."

"This time," the young man explained, "our Tai Yi Immortal Sect has sent five cultivators on the verge of achieving Great Perfection, four who have transcended tribulation, and one more who is nearing the Great Perfection Stage."

A hint of pride involuntarily crept onto the young man's face as he spoke. It was as though he was warning Peter Parker that it would be in his best interest to release him. Otherwise, he was certain to find himself in deep trouble.

Peter Parker, however, was utterly unmoved by the young man's demeanor. He regarded him coolly and inquired, "Given your extended stay amidst the ruins of Daoist Tian Yu, you must have a good grasp of the area. Could you tell me where Daoist Tian Yu's residence is located?"

Upon hearing Peter Parker's question, the young man's eyes narrowed instinctively. At first, he had suspected that this enigmatic individual might be a descendant of Daoist Tian Yu, someone entitled to the legacy. But now, it was clear that the stranger was clueless about the historic site and was evidently seeking Daoist Tian Yu.

It was apparent that this mysterious figure was on a similar quest to their own, likely having acquired the key to the ruins in pursuit of Immortal Destiny. Yet, in the vast expanse of the Immortal Breaking Universe, only a handful of unparalleled talents had reached the Quasi-Great Perfection Stage. Apart from a member of the Taiyi Immortal Sect, there were merely two others. And the young man before him was certainly not among them. Where had he come from?

"I'm not sure of Daoist Tian Yu's current dwelling either. However, one of our senior brothers recently stumbled upon a clue and summoned us to convene at a specific location..."

As the young man spoke, a subtle glint flickered in his eyes. The power of the individual before them was immeasurable; they stood no chance against him with their own abilities. His only option for escape was to entice this formidable stranger to that location. Once there, the five illustrious prodigies of their Tai Yi Immortal Sect, along with five Quasi-Mahayana Realm cultivators, would unite. Even if this stranger were an extraordinary Quasi-Mahayana Realm genius, he would find escape impossible, wings or no wings.

Peter Parker cast a brief, indifferent glance at the young man and stated, "In that case, lead the way. I'd like to see this place for myself."

Peter Parker had long outgrown his days as a young and inexperienced kid. With just a glance, he could nearly discern the petty schemes brewing in the young man's mind. But frankly, Peter Parker was indifferent to it all.

The Taiyi Immortal Sect had beaten them to the remains of Daoist Tian Yu, having clearly combed through much of the site already. Their gathering point was likely the entrance to Daoist Tian Yu's cave dwelling. How could Peter Parker pass up the opportunity when the young man was offering to guide him there? Any ulterior motives the young man might have held were of no consequence to Peter Parker. After all, against overwhelming strength, all plans are rendered useless.

Having ascended to the Sovereign of Martial Dao, Peter Parker viewed the Taiyi Immortal Sect's five Quasi-Great Celestial cultivators and the five prodigies within the ruins as trivial. With a flick of his finger, he unleashed two enigmatic forces that sealed the cultivation bases of the young man and woman before him. Only then were the seals on their bodies removed.

Without a word, the young man exchanged a significant look with the woman in green beside him, and together they silently led the way for Peter Parker. He followed at a measured pace, saying nothing.

As they journeyed, Peter Parker and his companions occasionally faced disruptions from Demonic Beasts, all of which Peter Parker dispatched with ease.

Half a day passed before Peter Parker noticed that the rock given to him by Liu Qingyi had emitted three faint signals.

"Three signals in the same direction," he mused. "It seems three of the four have already come together."

After a moment of contemplation, Peter Parker decided to rendezvous with Liu Qingyi and the others. He signaled to the two disciples from the Great Unity Immortal Sect and set off toward his companions.

Soon after, Peter Parker detected several powerful surges of energy on the horizon.

"Could Liu Qingyi and the others be engaged in battle?" he wondered, his eyes narrowing as he tuned into the formidable energy pulsations in the sky.

In addition to the members of the Green Yuan Merchant Guild and the Black Cloud Merchant Guild, representatives from the Taiyi Immortal Sect were also present at the ruins of Daoist Tian Yu. It remained unclear whether the conflict involved Liu Qingyi and the others was with the Black Cloud Merchant Guild or the Great Unity Immortal Sect. Suddenly, an idea struck Peter Parker, and without hesitation, he quickened his pace toward the source of the energy disturbance.
