World's Strongest Martial Warrior

C2608 CHAPTER2608

2Mo Fan rubbed his eyes, half-convinced he was hallucinating. It wasn't until the deacon of the Canglan Sacred Clan declared the test results that Mo Fan had to accept the unbelievable truth. He had indeed demonstrated eight-star talent!

"Jiang... Big brother Peter Parker, I... I've got an eight-star talent," Mo Fan stammered as he rejoined Peter Parker, his mind swirling as though he were in a dream.

Just a year prior, Mo Fan had come to the Canglan Sacred School for the same test, only to reveal a rather ordinary six-star talent. Over the course of the year, while his cultivation had improved modestly, he hadn't experienced any extraordinary strokes of luck. How could his talent have inexplicably leaped from six to eight stars?

Mo Fan certainly hadn't anticipated such a turn of events. It all started with Peter Parker's unexpected slap.

Earlier, when Peter Parker was being tested, he had gained some insight into the treasure the Canglan Sacred Clan used to assess Star rank talent. Apparently, due to its limitations, the treasure could only evaluate martial artists below the Divine King Realm. Any attempt to measure strength at the Divine King Realm or higher would overload the device, maxing out at nine stars.

Peter Parker had infused a surge of energy into Mo Fan's body. Though it wasn't enough to push the test to its breaking point, it certainly sufficed to yield an eight-star talent result.

"Mo Fan, congratulations!" Peter Parker beamed. "Didn't I tell you a miracle would happen this year? Was I right or what?"

Mo Fan's heart skipped a beat as realization dawned on him.

The Talent Test proceeded after Mo Fan's turn. A slew of geniuses with seven-star talents emerged, but none matched Mo Fan's eight-star feat.

About four hours later, the Navy Tide Sacred Clan's New Recruitment Assembly's talent test drew to a close.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the talent test has concluded. All who have passed the initial phase, please make your way to the Navy Tide Sacred Clan independently. If you can overcome the three challenges awaiting you there, you'll earn the status of an official disciple of the Navy Tide Sacred Clan," announced Cang Wuhui, the elder of the Navy Tide Sacred Clan, his voice echoing across the gathering.

"Come on, Big Brother Peter Parker, let's get going. I'm already well-versed in the three challenges outside the Canglan Saint Sect. I'm confident that this time I'll conquer them and secure my place in the sect," Mo Fan said to Peter Parker, his voice brimming with excitement after Cang Wuhui's announcement.

With a chuckle, Mo Fan added, "You seem to have overlooked something. An eight-star talent like myself is exempt from the subsequent trials. I'm already considered a disciple of the Canglan Sacred School."

"I'm aware of that, but there's no rule saying that eight-star talents can't participate in the later assessments, is there?" Mo Fan had no intention of bypassing the upcoming tests. He was determined to face them alongside Peter Parker.

"Why don't you head over to the Canglan Sacred Sect and wait for me? I'm set on passing the test and joining you there," Mo Fan said.

Shaking his head, Peter Parker replied with a gentle smile, "You should go ahead. Someone's already here to escort you."

Startled, Mo Fan looked up to see Cang Wuhui, the elder of the Canglan Sacred School, approaching him.

"Mo Fan, with your eight-star talent, there's no need for you to undergo the later tests. Come with me to the Canglan Sacred Clan. Once you're inside, you'll be a core disciple, free to choose any master from the Canglan Sacred Clan as your mentor!" Cang Wuhui declared.

At those words, a wave of envy swept through the crowd, their eyes glowing with jealousy as they gazed at Mo Fan, many of them yearning to take his place.

Becoming a core disciple of the Canglan Sacred Sect meant the privilege of apprenticing under any Tyrant Realm expert—a dream for every martial artist in the Navy Tide Universe.

"Alright, Big Brother Peter Parker, I'll head to the Navy Tide Sacred Sect and wait for your arrival," Mo Fan said, though he hesitated briefly before making his decision to proceed to the Canglan Sacred Sect first.

A thought lingered in Mo Fan's mind, a suspicion that his ability to demonstrate such exceptional talent was somehow linked to Peter Parker.

Although he couldn't fathom why Peter Parker was concealing his abilities, he was certain that with Peter's eight-starred talent, gaining entry to the Canglan Sacred School would be effortless.

Cang Wuhui's attention lingered on Peter Parker briefly. Without another word, he vanished into the horizon alongside Mo Fan.

Once Cang Wuhui and Mo Fan had departed, Peter Parker seamlessly merged with the group that had passed the examination and made his way to the Navy Tide Sacred School.

The journey from Canglan Sacred City to the Canglan Sacred School was relatively short. In under an hour, Peter Parker arrived with the others at the base of the Canglan Sacred Clan's mountain.

Looking up, Peter Parker noticed the mountain path to the Navy Tide Sacred Sect was split into three distinct sections, presumably the aforementioned stages.

With his keen vision and perception, Peter could discern the details of these stages at a glance.

The first stage was shrouded in a translucent purple haze, indicating an illusionary formation. Many who stepped into this stage quickly became ensnared, their faces contorting with confusion, struggle, and a myriad of other emotions. Those lacking mental fortitude found themselves lost in the illusion, unable to advance.

The second stage, situated halfway up the mountain, was treacherously steep, with sheer cliffs shrouded in a dense purple-black mist. Lurking within were formidable beasts, manifestations of the mist, ranging from the First Order to the Sixth Order of the Heavenly God Realm. Even for a prodigy of the Heavenly God Realm, navigating this stage would be no small feat.

The final stage was characterized by an intangible pressure. Overcoming this barrier was the key to becoming an official disciple of the Canglan Sacred Clan.

As Peter Parker assessed the three challenges devised by the Canglan Sacred Clan, numerous aspirants were already exerting themselves to conquer these trials.

Some, more resolute than others, swiftly overcame the first stage's illusory formation and advanced to the second, engaging in combat with the mist-born beasts.

Of course, at every stage, there were always individuals being eliminated, their hopes dashed in the pursuit of mastery.

A mere handful of prodigies with seven-star talent had managed to surmount every challenge and reach the third stage, drawing ever closer to the esteemed Navy Tide Sacred Clan.

Observing their progress, Peter Parker calmly stepped into the first stage's illusory formation and began to navigate its challenges. The formation's effects were inconsequential to him, yet he lingered within it for some time before advancing to the second stage.

Without delay, he contended with the creatures of the second stage, eventually making his way to the third. The formidable presence of a Ruler in this stage was trivial for Peter Parker.

Despite this, he endured the third stage's daunting pressure and, somewhat worse for wear, gained entry into the Navy Tide Sacred Clan. Marking his achievement, he was the twenty-sixth individual to conquer the third stage and was formally inducted as a disciple of the clan.
