The man in golden robes was Yuan Wenjian, the esteemed Sect Master of the Primordius Sword Sect.    

"Elder Tianchi, what on earth transpired in the city? How did you come to be in such dire straits?" Yuan Wenjian's penetrating gaze betrayed his shock at the sight of Yuan Tianchi's wretched condition.

At present, Yuan Wenjian was still in the dark about the exact events that had unfolded in Primordius Holy City.

Upon hearing this, Yuan Tianchi felt compelled to interject, "Sect Master, you must reconsider..."

Yuan Wenjian's eyes sparkled at the prospect. If the Human Ruler of the Realm of the Gods could invoke the Art of Ascension to bring forth immortals, might there have been a shift in the Immortal Breaking Universe that reestablished the once-severed path to immortality?    

If that were indeed the case, why would the Immortal Breaking Universe launch an invasion of the Realm of the Gods just for an immortal tablet offering the chance at immortality?
