The news sent shockwaves through the room. The other three Great Luo Immortal Venerables were visibly shaken.    

They had braced themselves for the loss of one of their own, not two—and certainly not Elder Bi Mu and Commander Bi Zhan.    

The fall of Bi Zhan was a blow they might have weathered. But Elder Bi Jian? A seasoned late Great Luo Immortal Venerable, wielding the ancient Cloud Devouring Immortal Saber, his loss was inconceivable.    

Even with the Ye Family of Cangye City possibly sheltered by a Primordial Immortal Venerable, Elder Bi Mu should have been able to make a strategic retreat with the saber in hand. How, then, could he have met his end in Cangye City?
