The Jade Cloud Immortal Palace was infamous for the annihilation of the Heaven Breaking Immortal Sect. Moreover, the current state of chaos within the Immortal World's Immortal Path could be traced back to the same source.

"It's you. I didn't expect to find you here," the woman in white said, her eyes widening in surprise at the sight of Peter Parker.

The young man she'd met just outside the Heaven Breaking Immortal Sect had not only reached this place but had also managed to confront and subdue three late-stage Great Vehicle willpower essences of the sect.    

Peter Parker's eyes narrowed thoughtfully. "I didn't foresee crossing paths with you either. Who are you, exactly?"    

Speaking softly, the lady in the white dress revealed, "My name is Ling Xiyao, hailing from the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace. I am also the progeny of the Heaven-Cleaving Immortal Sect's founder, Ling Potian."    

"Oh?" Peter Parker couldn't conceal his surprise at this revelation.    

It made sense now why this woman could freely navigate the ruins of the Sky-Breaking Immortal Sect. She was a descendant of Ling Potian, left behind in the Immortal World.    

It appeared that despite the destruction of Ling Potian's legacy by the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace, remnants of his influence persisted, not entirely eradicated by the Palace.    

Ling Xiyao, the woman in the white dress, was not only Ling Potian's descendant but had also infiltrated the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace, using it as a means to enter the Sky-Cleaving Universe.

"Young master..." The words that followed from Ling Xiyao caused the expressions of the three will energy entities of the Heaven Breaking Immortal Sect to shift dramatically.    

After years of vigilant guardianship, they had finally encountered Ling Xiyao, a direct descendant of their Patriarch, poised to claim the treasure. Her arrival had kindled their hopes for the sect's resurgence.    

Yet now, Ling Xiyao was prepared to hand over the precious artifact they had defended so fiercely to this young outsider. The thought was almost too much to bear.    

"Seniors, please, hold your peace. I have a strategy in mind," Ling Xiyao reassured them with a dismissive wave of her hand. Turning to Peter Parker, she offered, "Simply agree, and the treasure is yours."    

Peter Parker regarded her with astonishment. "But wasn't the treasure your objective?"    

"In a manner of speaking, yes and no," Ling Xiyao replied, her eyes gleaming with sagacity. "My true intent was to find a worthy guardian for the treasure, not to reclaim it for the Immortal World."    

Ling Xiyao understood all too well the significance the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace placed on the artifact. Should she attempt to bring it back to the Immortal Dimension, it would be a futile endeavor. The Jade Cloud Immortal Palace would never allow her to wield its power, ensuring instead that it would end up in their own grasp.    

She had ventured to the lower realms this time with a clear intention: to find a worthy master for a certain treasure and to lay the groundwork for a future confrontation with Jade Cloud Immortal Palace.    

The young man clad in black before her seemed to be about her age and, judging by his remarkable growth in the universe of the Lower Realm, he was likely a peerless genius even by the standards of the Immortal Dimension. He was, without a doubt, an excellent choice to inherit the treasure.    

Peter Parker regarded Ling Xiyao with an air of surprise. Her aptitude for cultivation was evidently high, and her intelligence appeared to be equally impressive.

Peter trailed Ling Xiyao into the palace. They navigated through a series of intricate formations and soon reached a secluded chamber deep within.    

Ling Xiyao's hands fluttered with practiced ease, casting spells swiftly. In no time at all, the hall reverberated with a thunderous noise that seemed to shake the very earth and mountains. A stone pillar, rising over a meter high, emerged from the hall's center, atop which a mysterious tower began to ascend.    

The tower, a black pagoda, exuded an ancient presence, shrouded in an enigmatic force that Peter couldn't penetrate. It radiated a profound sense of mystique.    

"Eh... I never expected to encounter it here," came the astonished voice of the Immortal Monument within Peter's mind.    

His curiosity piqued, Peter asked, "Senior, are you familiar with the origins of this black pagoda?"    

"Tsk tsk... This pagoda is a supreme immortal treasure, one of the rare few in the Immortal World that can hold a candle to it."    

Ling Potian certainly had a stroke of luck to have come across such a treasure. Sadly, he never managed to fully harness its power. If only he had, he would have truly been its master.    

The Immortal Monument expressed its regret within the confines of Peter Parker's mind.    

A keen glint sparked in Peter Parker's eyes.
