Peter Parker's eyes narrowed as he watched the spot where Lei Tong had vanished, a cold glint passing through his gaze.    

The recent attack by the Immortal from Jade Cloud Immortal Palace was so formidable that even an average cultivator at the peak of the Mahayana Realm would have sustained grave injuries, if not met their demise.    

Had it not been for his exceptional strength, he wouldn't have withstood the onslaught.    

He vowed to himself that he would track down that Immortal from Jade Cloud Immortal Palace and exact revenge for today's assault.    

"Guild Master Liu, please wait for me here. I'm going to check out the main peak of the Heaven-Cleaving Immortal Sect."    

Peter Parker withdrew his intense stare, addressed Liu Qingyi and the others, and then, in a blur of motion, he made his way into the main peak of the Heaven Breaking Immortal Sect.    

"Brother Liu, should we follow him?" asked a cultivator at the peak of the Heavenly Tribulation, standing behind Liu Qingyi, as he watched Peter Parker disappear from view.    

Liu Qingyi offered a wry smile and shook her head. "Forget it. We can't influence his actions. There's no point in tailing him. We're better off waiting here."    

Even the formidable members of Jade Cloud Immortal Palace had been repelled by Peter Parker.    

If Peter Parker truly sought that treasure, they stood no chance of intervening.

The ruins of the Sky-Breaking Immortal Sect were teeming with powerful energy entities, some of which were no less formidable than the cultivators of the Mahayana Realm.

In the blink of an eye, Peter Parker found himself standing before an immense Immortal Palace. Towering into the clouds at a staggering 300 meters, it was the most well-preserved structure within the entire Sky-Breaking Immortal Sect. Despite the Heaven-Cleaving Immortal Sect's destruction at the hands of the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace's Immortal, this palace remained untouched, as if it had been spared from the chaos.    

Guarding the palace were over a hundred energy bodies, each as formidable as a practitioner in the Tribulation Passing stage. Upon noticing Peter Parker, they released a surge of monstrous energy and charged at him with lethal intent.    

With a graceful wave of the Human Emperor Sword, Peter Parker unleashed a blade of light that effortlessly obliterated more than a dozen energy bodies. "No wonder there are no energy bodies in the other parts of the main peak. They must all be here, protecting whatever treasure the Sky-Breaking Immortal Sect has within this palace," he murmured to himself, assessing the situation.    

Without a moment's delay, the sword in his hand danced through the air, each stroke eradicating more than ten energy bodies. In short order, Peter Parker had dispatched nearly all the guardians outside the Immortal Palace.    

As he was about to step into the hall to uncover the secrets within, an enraged voice thundered from within the palace. "Who dares to wreak havoc in my Heaven Breaking Immortal Sect?!"    

In response, three towering silhouettes burst forth. Each figure radiated an aura comparable to Skysaber, the Peak Leader of the Heaven-Saber Peak, and it was clear they matched the might of the Skyblade Tribe's Peak Leader. These three were undoubtedly peak cultivators at the pinnacle of the Mahayana Realm from the Heaven-Cleaving Immortal Sect.    

They stood defiantly in the void, their spectral eyes fixed on Peter Parker with icy disdain. "Are you the emissary of the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace?" they demanded.    

Peter Parker offered a faint smile and reassured, "Don't worry, I'm not affiliated with the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace. I've simply heard that your Heaven-Cleaving Immortal Sect is in possession of an extraordinary treasure, and I've come to take a look."    

"No matter who you are, the treasure our Heaven-Cleaving Immortal Sect guards is not something you can simply waltz in and claim!"    

The figure clad in golden robes at the center issued a frigid command, "Leave our grounds immediately, or prepare to face our wrath!"    

Unperturbed by the golden-robed figure's threat, Peter Parker looked up at him, his smile undiminished. "The Heaven-Cleaving Immortal Sect once safeguarded this treasure at great cost, with the hope that it might one day be used to challenge the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace. Allow me to see this treasure you so fiercely protect. If it proves to be of value... perhaps I'll consider taking down the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace on your behalf."    

"You're playing with fire, kid!"    

The golden-robed apparition's expression turned icy as he unleashed a formidable energy, forging a sword with the power to rend the heavens and cleave the earth, and he brought it down upon Peter Parker.    

With a casual flick of his wrist, Peter Parker summoned a dazzling sword Qi that sliced through the air, obliterating the phantom's sword.    

"I had no desire to engage in battle with those once hailed as heroes," Peter Parker said, his tone tinged with regret. "But if you leave me no choice, don't fault me for what comes next."    

He shook his head and, with a swift motion, brandished his sword at the golden-robed phantom and his two companions.    

These three were once the pinnacle cultivators of the Heaven-Cleaving Immortal Sect, and had they been in their prime, a united front might have presented a challenge. But now, as mere specters of energy, what threat could they possibly pose?    

With a series of thunderous booms, Peter Parker wielded the Human Emperor Sword, unleashing a relentless barrage of sword Qi.    

Driven back by the onslaught, the three energy forms, led by the golden-robed phantom, retreated, their figures growing increasingly tenuous.    

"You can't stop me," Peter Parker declared, fixing his gaze on the golden-robed phantom. "Step aside."    

"Not on your life!" The golden-robed figure met Peter Parker's stare, resolute and unwavering.    

They had endured such dire circumstances to safeguard the treasure. Now, with the arrival of the Ancestor Immortal's descendant to claim it, they wouldn't let anyone disrupt their vigil so easily.    

"Stubborn fool!"    

Peter Parker shook his head as the glow from his Mortal Emperor Sword intensified dramatically.    

He was on the verge of unleashing his full power to eliminate the trio when a chilling voice echoed through the hall.    

"Stop!"    

Caught off guard, Peter Parker halted in his tracks.    

He looked up toward the Immortal Palace and saw a stunning woman in a white dress gracefully emerging from within.    

"Why is it her?"    

A flicker of surprise crossed Peter Parker's face as he recognized the woman in white. She was the same person he had encountered amidst the ruins of the Sky-Breaking Immortal Sect!    

But wasn't she affiliated with the Jade Cloud Immortal Palace? What business could the will energy entities of the Heaven-Cleaving Immortal Sect have with sending her here?
