For instance, the five great forces had pledged allegiance to Lin Xuan and were incorporated into the five halls of the Tianyuan Palace. Lin Xuan had seized the moment to commandeer 50% of their wealth. If even the lofty five great forces were not spared, what chance did the Emperor Level forces stand?    

Considering this, parting with half of their savings seemed a more palatable sacrifice. They even refrained from uttering Lin Xuan's name out of fear, aware that spies from the five great forces likely infiltrated their ranks. Any disparaging remarks could have dire consequences if overheard by the top brass of the five great forces.    

Lin Xuan's current standing was beyond imagination. With the five great forces under his command, his power was unfathomable. Many within these forces probably sought to ingratiate themselves with Lin Xuan at the first opportunity, which could spell disaster for the unwary.    

Nevertheless, they decided to gather more information before proceeding. What the Emperor Level forces hadn't anticipated was the speed at which the news would spread. The five great forces used their influence to disseminate the information throughout the First-class States in the Central Region of the Dongyuan Continent in just a few hours.    

Soon after, the Emperor Level Martial Cultivators from the five great forces descended upon them via the teleportation formations. To their astonishment, these cultivators not only surpassed most Emperor Level forces in strength but also in numbers.    

In a particular large city or region, there were three individuals who had reached the early stages of the Martial Monarch Stage. The group of Emperor Level Martial Cultivators that arrived consisted of at least four members, one of whom was even at the middle stage of the Emperor Level. Should there be a middle-stage Emperor Level Martial Cultivator present, then a late-stage Emperor Level Martial Cultivator would be the one to descend.    

Regarding late-stage Emperor Level Martial Cultivators, aside from the six major powers and the Million Treasure Pavilion—an external entity—no other forces or independent cultivators would possess such individuals. The six major powers would not permit the emergence of any late-stage Emperor Level Martial Cultivators within other groups or among solitary practitioners. Upon advancement, one must either join one of the six major powers or the Million Treasure Pavilion. If not, they would have to traverse the vast, infinite Heavenly Elemental Sea and depart from the Dongyuan Continent. Otherwise, they would face an onslaught from the combined might of the six major powers and numerous Emperor Level Martial Cultivators.    

If an opponent of equal standing could not be overcome, then a peak Emperor Level Martial Cultivator would make their appearance. The disparity between late-stage Emperor Level and peak Emperor Level Martial Cultivators is immense. Except for Lin Xuan, who had an unfair advantage, and a handful of exceptionally talented individuals, it would be impossible to stand against such power. Resistance would be futile. Even in Lin Xuan's absence, these five branches would continue to uphold their prior unspoken agreement, stifling any Emperor Level Martial Cultivators from other factions or independent cultivators from advancing to the late stage of the Emperor Level. As the name implies, Beast Controlling involves the mastery of demonic beasts to assist in various tasks such as combat, defense, mining, and treasure hunting.    

Those with advanced skills could command beasts at their own level, outnumbering and overpowering their peers in battle to stand out as exceptional fighters.    

The most elite practitioners could even control beasts beyond their own level of cultivation.    

However, these beasts were more commonly used to protect sects and families, as their lifespans far exceeded those of humans at comparable levels, often living several times longer.    

The growth of these beasts was incredibly slow, requiring a great deal of time.    

As a result, many forces invested in the cultivation of a single beast, nurturing it as a legacy to be passed down through generations.
