C1357 Temporarily Leave!

C1357 Temporarily Leave!

0At that moment, the once tranquil pond, enshrouded in thick mist, came alive with surging waves and joyful splashes. Amidst the tumult, two massive figures swam with purpose. Lin Xuan caught sight of Tian, frolicking in the water.

Tian had grown bored of playing in the valley and, seeking Lin Xuan, had returned. The three King Level beasts, including the Violent Ape, retreated to their territories, as if granted clemency. With Tian's superior bloodline and rank, he exerted a significant dominance over the three King Level demonic beasts, who dared not resist and abandoned any thoughts of escape. The hierarchy within the world of demonic beasts was far more brutal than among humans.

Upon discovering the vast pond and the Azure Heaven Bull Python within, Tian recalled the rare True Dragon aura it had once bestowed upon him. In turn, the Azure Heaven Bull Python revered Tian as if he were an ancient ancestor.

Tian then plunged into the pond to play, with the Azure Heaven Bull Python trailing behind like a loyal younger sibling. Despite reaching its potential limit, the python recognized the chance for growth. Merely being in the presence of Tian, the Heavenly Warring Dragon, and absorbing traces of his aura could yield benefits surpassing months or even decades of solitary cultivation.

Thankfully, Tian was aware of his formidable strength and refrained from unleashing it carelessly, for in a mere moment, he could have devastated the entire region.

The commotion stirred the martial artists of Tianyuan Palace, who watched from a safe distance, too intimidated to draw near. The mere diffusion of Tian's presence was enough to send shivers down their spines and fill them with awe. Indeed, the Hall Master's spiritual pet was extraordinary, likely a King Level Demonic Beast at the very least. The martial artists, limited by their understanding, could only speculate.

Lin Xuan observed the scene with a smile, choosing not to interfere with Tian's enjoyment. Since hatching, Tian had been kept mostly within the Beastmaster Bag to accelerate his growth and to remain hidden from covetous martial artists. Lin Xuan had ensured that Tian spent most of his time in slumber, safe within the bag.

Lin Xuan's current strength may not be the absolute pinnacle, but there are few who could surpass him and take Tian away from him. There's no longer any need to subject Tian to discomfort. Lin Xuan has decided that Tian will no longer reside in the Beastmaster Bag. From now on, he'll let him stay outside to play freely and unwind, as his nature is still akin to that of a child. However, Lin Xuan will ensure that Tian keeps his power in check and doesn't reveal it indiscriminately. Otherwise, there are few on this continent who could endure it.

Afterward, Lin Xuan took his time wandering through the valley before deciding not to delay any further. He called out to Tian with a shout. "Awoo!" Tian responded with a cry and burst out of the pond, darting towards Lin Xuan at an incredible speed. The other martial artists could only catch a glimpse of a streak of crimson light before Tian shrank to the size of a palm and settled on Lin Xuan's shoulder. The martial artists marveled at the sight; the ability to change size at will was something they had neither seen nor heard of before. This Hall Master's spiritual pet was truly extraordinary. They couldn't identify the type of demonic beast Tian was, but they understood that he was a being far beyond their comprehension. Lin Xuan, for instance, showed no interest in creatures like the Azure Heaven Bull Python with High King Rank potential or the three King Level beasts guarding outside, such as the Berserk Ape. This indicated that Tian possessed unique qualities, likely placing him at the Emperor Level. Unbeknownst to them, Tian had already reached the pinnacle of the Emperor Level, far surpassing his peers and capable of easily defeating most creatures of the same rank. Their own levels, it seemed, had limited their imagination.

"Father-in-law, I entrust Tianyuan Palace to you. I'll be back in just a few days," Lin Xuan assured Lin Qiyuan, Nie Mingchang, and the others. "By then, Tianyuan Palace can operate openly; we won't need to remain hidden here any longer."

"Hall Master, take care and be cautious on your journey," Lin Qiyuan responded with gravity. Nie Mingchang, Liu Wuya, and the rest were still trying to process the information, their expressions one of stunned disbelief, as if they had misunderstood.

The current state of the continent was well known to them.

The war ignited by the Devil Cloud Hall had prompted its branches throughout the continent to join the fray.

Consequently, the land was steeped in bloodshed.

Apart from the top five powers, which were on par with the Devil Cloud Hall,

which group or solitary cultivator wasn't facing peril?

Lin Xuan's bold declaration was startling, to say the least.

Despite Lin Xuan's extraordinary abilities, which vastly exceeded their own, it was still hard for them to grasp.

They wondered if they were experiencing auditory hallucinations.

And they didn't get a chance to hear more from Lin Xuan.

He had already departed.

None of them noticed how Lin Xuan had left.

So, they turned to Lin Qiyuan.

Lin Qiyuan shared the closest bond with Lin Xuan, being his true kin.

The others were merely former sect members or acquaintances whom Lin Xuan had looked after, none as close as Lin Qiyuan.

Lin Qiyuan gave a wry smile, at a loss for words.

The stakes were simply too high.

Even though he chose to trust Lin Xuan unconditionally,

to the others, it seemed far-fetched.

It was difficult to articulate.

He could only provide a rough explanation.

For the rest, they would have to wait for Lin Xuan's return, when he would let the facts speak for themselves.

If what Lin Xuan claimed was true, the outcome would be clear within a few days.

...

Accompanied by the Martial Puppet and Tian, Lin Xuan left the secluded valley where Tianyuan Palace stood.

Their destination was the nearest city equipped with a Cross-Domain Transportation Array.

This city, located at the northern edge of the Southern Wen Mountain Range, was one of the largest nearby.

Yet, it lacked an Emperor Level Martial Cultivator, with the highest-ranking individual being a City Lord at the pinnacle of the King Level.

Before long, Lin Xuan arrived at the city.

To facilitate his journey and avoid disturbances, as well as to sidestep any unnecessary complications,

Lin Xuan instructed the Martial Puppet to release its full aura, that of a peak Emperor Level Martial Cultivator.

Within the city's Transportation Hall, the Hall Master, Wang Yue, bowed deeply in greeting, while the other senior officials of the city showed the utmost respect.

"Greetings, Elder. To which city do you wish to be teleported?"

"Celestial Essence City!"

Lin Xuan uttered the name.

He had long since determined his destination and the route to take.

"Understood, Elder. I will commence immediately!"

Wang Yue dared not delay. Southern Yue City lacked the backing of the Six Great Overlords.

Moreover, even the Six Great Overlords would hesitate to provoke a peak Emperor Level Martial Cultivator.

He was clueless as to why a Martial Cultivator of such high standing would visit his out-of-the-way Southern Yue City, nor did he dare to pry.

Such matters were beyond his scope of understanding.
