Absolute Resonance

Within Xia City, everyone wore grim expressions as they witnessed the unstoppable descent of the Other Dominion. Even though there were numerous layers of the void and the Realm Wall between them, the aura of corruption filled everyone with terror. Even Pang Qianyuan, Li Qingying, and Lan Lingzi had icy expressions.    

"In the end, the Saturnine Hydra Devil King managed to descend," Li Luo said with a helpless sigh. The summoning platform had been on the verge of destruction, but the enemy had prepared a backup    

As expected, Devil Kings weren't to be trifled with.    

“We cannot allow the Eight Headed Other Dominion to descend. Otherwise, the Xia Kingdom will become a living hell. All living creatures will be condemned to corruption, a fate worse than death!" Jiang Qing’e’s golden eyes gleamed sharply, and the Holy Phoenix Parasol in her hand ignited with raging sacred flames. She had too many old friends in the Xia Kingdom and would not stand idly and watch as the Saturnine Hydra Devil King corrupted this land.    

Li Luo fell silent, his gaze shifting toward the depths of Xia City. Now that all the Others had been devoured by the Saturnine Hydra Devil King, experts like Yu Lang and the First Princess were no longer engaged in battle. That said, they could only stand frozen, staring in fear and confusion at the steadily falling Other Dominion. This situation had far surpassed what they were capable of handling.    

They could only stare blankly as they were judged by that indomitable being in the skies.    

Sensing Li Luo’s gaze, Yu Lang raised his head and locked eyes with him. His blood-smeared face revealed a faint smile.    

"Li Luo, if nothing else can be done, then make sure you stay alive. Take revenge for us in the future."    

Though no sound left his lips, his words and thoughts were transmitted clearly into Li Luo’s ears. Yu Lang knew that the situation was beyond saving if even Principal Pang and the Kings were powerless. Li Luo had already done more than enough, and things had spiraled into the worst possible outcome. All he could hope for now was that his friend would survive—because Li Luo was the future of the Astral Sage College.    

Li Luo gave a shallow smile. He had left once all those years ago, and he was determined not to do so again.    

He turned toward Jiang Qing’e with a smile. "Sister Qing’e, I think it’s time to put our lives on the line. Do you have any trump cards left?"    

"It looks like I can’t afford to wait for you any longer," Jiang Qing’e said with a light laugh.    

Li Luo’s eyes narrowed. He understood what Jiang Qing’e was planning.    

"You.. you're going to become a true Transcendent Duke?"    

Jiang Qing'e had long reached the upper Sixth Transcendent Duke Stage, and with her foundation and potential, she naturally had the ability to move on. However, this was much sooner than Li Luo had expected.    

Jiang Qing'e gave a sweet smile.    

When Li Luo saw this, he pondered over the implications before holding out his palm. A strange crystal object with mysterious energy fluctuations appeared, pulsing with a divine aura that seemed to clear the heart and mind. It could also strengthen one’s connection with the heavens and earth, bringing them into harmony with the world around them.

"I don't have the Myriad Resonances Golden Pill, and so I can't step into that stage yet. That means I don’t have much use for the Divine Matter. If you succeed in breaking through, our odds of winning this battle will increase."    

His eyes were filled with concern as he looked at her, causing Jiang Qing'e to appreciate his sweet gesture. There was no need to be overly formal, so she grabbed the divine matter with a nod. "Be careful and buy me a little bit of time."    

Jiang Qing'e then closed her eyes, and her six Ten-Pillar Golden Duke Bergfrieds soared into the air like blazing suns. Between her brows, the Apex Resonance Crystal Core let out blinding light as primordial runes appeared on it.

A beam of divine light pierced the skies, spreading pure light source origin across the world.

The three Kings, deeply experienced with the ways of cultivation, couldn't help but feel as though they had been struck by lightning. After all, the rise of a Transcendent Duke was much rarer than that of a King.

"Hahahaha! I never expected that this trip to the Xia Kingdom would come with such a pleasant surprise. I came here for one Genesis Seed, only to find another. If I can devour her, my path to become a Grand Devil King will be guaranteed. This land is truly blessed!"    

When Li Luo heard the raucous laughter of the Five Headed Devil Abomination, his eyes brimmed with killing intent. He turned towards the three Kings beside him. "Principal Pang, we have to hold him back and buy some time for Sister Qing'e."𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺    

"Of course!" Pang Qianyuan answered without any hesitation. If Jiang Qing'e could become a true Transcendent Duke and everyone worked together, they just might stand a chance of defeating this devil.    

Li Luo took a deep breath. "I'd also like to ask you to let me borrow the Dragon Bone Holy Grail, Principal Pang."    

Principal Pang paused for a moment. "The Dragon Bone Holy Grail's source origin has been depleted and must be recharged in the Academic Federation... Wait, you possess the Heavenly Dragon's bloodline. That might be enough to wield it!"    

With that in mind, Principal Pang waved his sleeve. A golden light shot towards Li Luo, and he caught it.    

Li Luo examined the familiar goblet, his gaze filled with reminiscence. This was the item he had personally won during the Holy Grail Meet all those years ago.    

He sighed before immediately activating the Dragon Blood Atavism Art.    

His body expanded rapidly. He grew taller, his hair lengthened, and his flesh and blood began to churn with vitality. He had once again assumed the humanoid form of a Heavenly Dragon.    

At the same time, Li Luo swiped his hand across the tip of the Light and Dark Spear, cutting it open and allowing his blood, which glowed with a violet-gold light, to spill into the chalice.    

Violet-gold runes lit up on the goblet, and an ear-splitting draconic roar echoed out.    

The Dragon Bone Holy Grail had regained a portion of its power thanks to Li Luo's Heavenly Dragon blood essence.    

He raised the Dragon Bone Holy Grail, pointing it towards the Five Guardian Armies as he roared to those behind him, "Are the Five Guardian Armies present?!"    

With Li Foluo at the lead, more ten thousand voices answered in unison.    

"We are!"
